Boer War British Queens South Africa Medal Kimberley Town Guard, with one clasp Defence of Kimberley awarded to PTE J Stables Kimberley Town GD.

Stables served in the Kimberley Town Guard which was raised in October 1899 to defend the city against the Boers. The siege was eventually broken in February 1900.
