A 5 Inch Gauge Live Steam Rolling Chassis For a L.N.E.R Thompson Class BI 4-6-0 "Springbok" Locomotive with Six Wheel Rolling Tender Chassis, locomotive currently with coupled wheels, bogie, fitted brake system, Walschaerts valve gear, cylinder blocks which are equipped to run on compressed air supplied with a full (12 sections), set of Martin Evans plans and associated ephemera, the locomotive chassis is fitted to a "Rollover", further to a four wheel trolley, also with a small amount of associated parts, a rolling road and a quantity of "Workshop" fastenings, overall engineering, build quality is good to good plus, however bright metal parts are suffering surface corrosion and would benift from T.L.C, tender chassis has one buffer detached (present), locomotive length 38 inch tender 24 inch. Springbok was the pioneer engine (No 8301) for the BI Class, introduced 1942.
