In 2008 our experienced team of Specialist Valuers was joined by Sarah Clark, who has a B.A. Hons. degree in Fine Art & Chattels Valuation and a Professional Jewellers Diploma plus many years experience in this field. She joined us as a Jewellery, Watches and Silver Consultant.
Sarah has been developing this area within our current Antique & Fine Art Auctions and there will be the addition into the Specialist Auctions Calendar of Jewellery, Watches & Silver Sales.
Valuations
We hold regular free Specialist Valuation Days both at The Sheffield Saleroom and at other prestigious venues in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
Sarah holds weekly valuation days in the Saleroom on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm for free pre-sale appraisals and advice. She is also available in the Saleroom on other week days, Monday to Thursday, however it is recommended that an appointment is made to ensure that she is available and has the appropriate amount of time to appraise your items.
Many of the items Sarah is happy to advise on include; Wrist watches including Jaeger-leCoultre, Patek Philippe, Longines, Rolex etc; Gold and Silver Pocket Watches including pair-cased, half-hunter, ladies fobs, watch chains; Jewellery including Diamonds and other gem set; rings, bracelets, earring, brooches, necklaces, costume, pearls, gold & silver, Georg Jensen, Victorian mourning and jet plus suites; Gents including cuff-links; Silver, Silver Plate, Electro-plate and Sheffield Plate items.
Professional Written Valuations

Auction Catalogues
Printed catalogues are available for the auctions and they are listed on both our website and many specialist auction sites such as The Antiques Trade Gazette ‘the-Saleroom.com’, Invaluable and UKAuctioneers.com and notifications are mailed to our comprehensive databases of both Trade and Private buyers. They are also be advertised within the Local, National and Trade press and other publications.
Live Auctions

These sales are held Live in real time on the internet with a webcam facility to enable buyers to watch and bid at the sales without being present in the saleroom, this service is offered through www.the-saleroom.com.
