Bi-annual ‘Football Programmes & Sporting Memorabilia’ Auctions

These auctions take place twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. They contain anywhere from 500 to 800 Lots. They include everything from single items consignments and small collections to a lifetimes worth of collecting. They cover all sports such as Football, Rugby, Cricket, Fishing, Snooker, Golf, Tennis, Speedway, Motor Racing, Boxing, etc etc.

The Football items include many local, national and International clubs from single programmes and bound volumes of league and non-league clubs etc from all levels of the game. Pre-war memorabilia is of particular interest, including early Wisdens and old sporting photographs.

Since we began holding these specialist auctions over ten years ago their popularity has soared and has become one of the largest, well attended auctions in the region.

These sales are held Live in real time on the internet with a webcam facility to enable buyers to watch and bid at the sales without being present in the saleroom, this service is offered through www.the-saleroom.com.

We produce a printed catalogues for these auctions and they are listed on both our website and many specialist auction sites such as The Antiques Trade Gazette "The Saleroom.com", Invaluable and UKAuctioneers.com and notifications are mailed to our comprehensive databases of both Trade and Private buyers. They are also advertised within the Local, National and Trade press and other publications.

We have a Specialist Football Programmes & Sporting Memorabilia Valuer available in the Saleroom, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 4pm, for free pre-auction appraisals and advice, however it is recommended that an appointment is made to ensure that he has the appropriate amount of time available to appraise your items.
