It has at times felt a long haul, but finally, four years after initial planning permission was submitted, Sheffield Auction Gallery are delighted to announce the completion of the next phase of their development and investment at their purpose-built Auction rooms in Sheffield, cementing their position as one of Yorkshire's leading Auction Houses. 

 
Taking total square footage to in excess of 14,000 square feet at the Windsor Road site, Saleroom 4, which forms an integral part of the new extension will allow the company to re-launch their hugely popular Saturday House Clearance & General sales plus the new storage and processing areas which will see an increase in on-line auctions and drive significant efficiency in how all consignments are handled and processed.  
 
Director Liz Dashper-Johnson commented; “It’s been a very long road, which has seen many challenges, delays caused by the pandemic and construction restrictions due to our site being alongside the Midland Mainline railway, but thanks to perseverance and much hard work, we are finally finished and eager to launch an additional 3,000 square feet of brand new, in-house Auctions and storage spaces, which will enable us to hold sales in store whilst being fully marketed online for longer periods, maximising the potential hammer by reaching a wider bidding audience.”

“However, no investment in infrastructure and opportunity would work without investment in the team and staff” Liz continued, “we are delighted to announce two new appointments to our team of valuers. Ewan Morton, who has joined our general valuers and Madison-Rose McDonald has joined our Silver & Jewellery department.”​
